- In Microsoft Mail, from the Tools menu, select Accounts.
- In the Internet Accounts window, click Add.
- On the Your Name page, in the Display Name field, enter your full name and then click Next.
- On the Internet Email Address page, in the Email address field, enter your email address, and then click Next:
- On the Set up Email Servers page, type the following information, and then click Next.
- Incoming email server type
- IMAP or POP3
- Incoming mail (POP3) server
- IMAP - mail.yourdomain.com.au
POP accounts - mail.yourdomain.com.au - Outgoing email server (SMTP) name
- mail.yourdomain.com.au
- Outgoing server requires authentication
- Select to enable
- On the Internet Mail Log on page, in the Email Username and Password fields, enter your email address and password, and then click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Return to Microsoft Mail, and from the Tools menu, selectAccounts.
- In the Internet Accounts window, in your list of Mail accounts, select the account you just set up, and then click Properties.
- In the Properties window, go to the Advanced tab and make the following changes:
- Outgoing Mail (SMTP)
- Without SSL - one of the following: 587
With SSL - 465 - (Optional) This server requires a secure connection (SSL)
- Select to enable
- Incoming mail
- IMAP without SSL - 143
IMAP with SSL - 993
POP without SSL - 110
POP with SSL - 995 - (Optional) This server requires a secure connection (SSL)
- Select to enable
- Click OK.
